Apex Support School Professional Day
Apex were delighted to return to Springfield School on 28th June 2017 to join a Professional Day, organised by Helen Pullan of Safe Opportunities in Crewe. The aim of the day was to give students the opportunity to socialise with individuals and learn about their occupations. A range of employers, including the police, NHS, & St Luke’s Hospice were available to help Springfield students expand their knowledge.
Students had the opportunity to wear police uniform & have their fingerprints taken, whilst also being able to learn & practice with a wide variety of medical equipment. The fake blood on the NHS stand was a big hit with the students!
Debbie Snelson, Commercial Manager of Apex commented:
“It was so good to see the students’ confidence shining through as they interacted with us.
We talked about the work Apex do, and the pictures I printed certainly appeared to capture their interest as they engaged with the bright colours and felt the different types of paper”.
Each year, Apex give 10% of their profits to charity, whilst also planting a tree for every device they sell. If you have an environmental or educational project you think the Apex Action team can assist with, they’d love to hear from you.
