Apex Action Supports Summer Fayre to Raise Funds for St Luke’s Catholic Primary School
On 6th July Apex Action was delighted to run a stall & exhibit the Apex Action Land Rover at St Luke’s Catholic Primary School Summer Fayre to raise funds for the Frodsham school.
Inspired by a Borneo volunteering trip completed by Apex’s MD Chris Hutchings, Apex used the poster print facility available on their photocopiers to create a huge “Spot the Orangutan” treasure map. The prize winner was a local resident who correctly guessed the place where the orangutans were hiding & won a fabulous glamping weekend for two in the Welsh Countryside.
There was a relaxed & friendly atmosphere as everyone enjoyed the sunshine. Frodsham Fire Service took along their fire engine, teddy bears & wine were won on the tombola stall & plenty of hot dogs & burgers were consumed! The ice-cream stand proved equally popular, as well as the home-made cakes stall. A highlight of the day was also the pupils outstanding singing performance.
The event, organised by The Friends of St Lukes, was a resounding success raising over £1,000, as well as providing a great opportunity for both adults & children to together as a school, parish & local community.
Apex was overjoyed to receive a thank you note from Year 1 Class saying;
“Thank you for very much for generously running a stall at our Summer Fayre. Thank you for bringing your incredible remade Land Rover it was very exciting seeing it again. You helped to make our Fayre a great success”.
