Apex Action Supports School Trip to Lourdes
A group of over 20 young people from St Thomas More Catholic School, Crewe will be travelling to Lourdes in July this year, with one pupil place sponsored by Apex Action.
The pupils will join members of the parishes of Crewe, Alsager & Nantwich, to spend time at one of the world’s most famous pilgrimage sites & discover the beauty of the Pyrenees at the same time.
It will be the schools fifth annual pilgrimage to Lourdes. During their visit they will help the sick & elderly. Their duties will include taking the pilgrims to & from mass, around the town to visit shops and cafes, as well as spending much of their time talking with them.
They will be just some of millions of people who take the faith-based trip to learn more about the story of St. Bernadette & the miracle of the healing waters, visit the Grotto, experience torchlight processions & attend mass.
Debbie Snelson, Apex’s Commercial Manager:
“It’s a pleasure to donate to this notable trip in the St Thomas More school calendar. You only need to look at the faces of this year’s pilgrims preparing for Lourdes with this year’s T-shirts to see what it means to them!
We wish them all a fantastic time & are sure it will be a trip of a lifetime”.
